Porcine Pleuropneumonia Caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae
The aetiology, clinical signs and control of porcine pleuropneumonia (PPP) are outlined by Marcelo Gottschalk of the University of Montreal and André Broes of BiovetInc (both in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada). They say that while PPP is generally well controlled in the US and Canada. it remains a concern for some producers and their veterinarians.
