Genetics and geographical variation of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) in Thailand.
Veterinary Microbiology, 2004, Volume 101, Nº1, 9-21
The genotyping of 137 Thai isolates revealed that 66.42% of them belonged to the European genotype. These European strains shared a high level of nucleotide identity (87-97.5%) with the Lelystad virus which is the EU prototype whereas the North American strains were closely related to a Canadian strain (IAF-EXP91).
