Good year for Chinese farmers.

In 2004, Chinese agriculture achieved excellent financial results. The significant rise of meat prices has included pork which prices rose approximately 50%. In addition, Chinese government has undertaken positive measures such as agricultural future contracts which result in commercial and fiscal advantages for Chinese farmers. The ongoing opening of Chinese agricultural sector means greater transparency and market opportunities.
