Bulletin No. 24 - Spring 2006
Summary
In this edition there are two papers about a new agent thought to be involved in the ethio-pathogeny of gastric ulcers in pigs. You will also find a large number of communications presented at the International Conference on Animal Circoviruses and Associated Diseases, European Society for Veterinary Virology, Belfast, 2005, that confirm that maternal immunity has a role. Another paper to note, shows a correlation of cell-mediated immunity against porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus with protection against reproductive failure in sows during outbreaks of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome in commercial herds.Contents
