Interaction of M. Hyo with other pathogens.
Pig Progress, 2005, Volume 21, Nš6, 18-20
The interactions of M. Hyopneumaniae with other pathogens (bacteria, parasites and virus) were carefully studied and it was shown that these interactions could result in more severe clinicial symptoms in pigs. Vaccination against M. Hyopneumaniae was shown to be effective in reducing the potentiation of the diseases induced by respiratory pathogens, as long as the vaccine was administered at a certain point of time.
