Impact of PRRS virus on classical swine fever vaccine.

An experimental protocol including five groups of 5-7 pigs was designed as follows:
- Pigs infected with classical swine fever virus (CSFV),
- Pigs vaccinated with CSF vaccine and challenged with virulent CSF,
- Pigs infected with porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) and challenged with CSFV
- Pigs infected with PRRSV, vaccinated with CSF vaccine and challenged with CSFV,
- Control pigs (no infection, no vaccination).
