Prevalence of enzootic pneumonia, pleuropneumonia, and pleuritis in slaughter pigs in Korea.
Proceedings of the 19th IPVS Congress, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2006 - Volume 2:210
This paper describes a Korean study conducted on 3,060 slaughter pigs in order to define the prevalence of three different diseases in those pigs. After necropsy, lungs were examined in order to detect enzootic pneumonia-, pleuropneumonia- or pleuritis-related lesions and to define the prevalence of each disease. Enzootic pneumonia appeared to be decreasing in one region of Korea.
