Conduite à tenir diagnostique et thérapeutique face aux mycoplasmoses et aux infections respiratoires en élevage de porcs (Diagnosis and therapeutic strategies in respiratory infections in pig farming)
Le Nouveau Praticien Vétérinaire, 2007, Volume 345, 69-73
In this paper, the authors review the various medical and sanitary strategies available for the control of swine respiratory infections. These infections are more frequently caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and nowadays, most of pig farms are affected by M. hyopneumoniae infection. The authors therefore provide some clues to diagnose better respiratory infections in pigs (observation of clinical signs, necropsy, laboratory findings) and treat them efficiently (antibiotics, prophylaxy - vaccination and breeding techniques).
