Circovirus sheds through the nose

The author here reports the findings presented during the 5th International Symposium on Emerging and Re-Emerging Pig Diseases that was held in Krakow, Poland, in 2007, and particularly those regarding the routes of circovirus transmission in pigs. Indeed, recent research studies tended to show that nasal shedding could play a significant role in virus transmission.
