IPVS 2008: Chinese pig production is moving to the "western" type of farming. Nowadays many key sites of China have western breeds of pigs. Ileitis is one of the new challenges in face of many Chinese farms. However, still a lot of farms suffer sever economic losses due to common presence of subclinical ileitis as a result of continuous antibiotic usage. This paper will summarize control cases of the disease with a modified live vaccine against Ileitis.
