What is it?

ViraMatrix^TM is a feeding stuff manufactured by Park Tonks Ltd, based on natural anti-oxidants, for adding to piglet diets

What does it do?

It supports the animal by supplying nutrients in times of stress and/or other metabolic imbalances.

How does it work?

This product contains a combination of

Bioflavanoids
Anthocyanins
Antioxidants

These have been included to provide nutrients to tissues such as the intestine, muscle and lungs. It is these natural antioxidants that provide support for these tissues under normal and abnormal metabolic challenges. The value of additional antioxidant supply has been the topic of many recent positive reports; for humans, companion animals and farm livestock.

Does it work?

In almost 99% of cases, farmers have observed significant reductions in mortality to PMWS, for example, when ViraMatrix^TM is fed for the recommended feeding period. In addition, other farmers have commented that their pigs, quote "have more bloom and generally look healthier".

What does it cost?

If in the case of PMWS, for example, if your post weaning mortality figures are higher than 8% then ViraMatrix^TM may prove cost effective for you. The higher the mortality the more cost effective ViraMatrix^TM should become.

How is it applied?

Normally it is added to the piglet feed between 2 - 3 kg per tonne between weaning and 30 kg live weight.
