- Florfenicol has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
Fast-Acting, Long-Lasting Therapy4
- Excellent penetration into body tissue and fluids including brains, joints, and lungs.6
- Pharmacokinetic studies of florfenicol show that Nuflor 2.3% Concentrate Solution goes to work almost immediately, reaching therapeutic concentrations in blood and tissues rapidly after administration.
- Following administration in drinking water, florfenicol concentrates remain above 1.0 µg/mL for the duration of the treatment period.
- Significantly reduces labored breathing, coughing, fever, and depression.1
Unique Molecular Spectrum
- Synthetic molecule is designed to be safe, effective, and specifically for veterinary use.
- Inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level. Prevents transfer of amino acids from transfer RNA to the growing peptide chains during protein synthesis.
Proven Safety5
- Extensive variable dosage studies indicated that Nuflor 2.3 % Concentrate Solution
is well tolerated when administered according to the recommended clinical regimen.
- Nuflor has no negative impact on feed intake, water consumption, or weight gain.
Indications
Nuflor 2.3% Concentrate Solution is indicated for the treatment of swine respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis, and Streptococcus suis Type 2 in swine.
