The Mycofix^Â® product line from BIOMIN represents specially developed feed additives that protect animal health by deactivation of mycotoxins.

The sophisticated modular system - adsorption of mycotoxins (e.g. aflatoxins, fumonisins or ergots) and biological degradation of less- or even non-adsorbable mycotoxins (e.g. trichothecenes, zearalenone and ochratoxins) - forms the basis of the unique patented mode of action. Adsorbable mycotoxins are deactivated due to their specific fixation to a premium blend of adsorbing components resulting in a reduction of toxin bioavailability. Biotransformation by patented biological components eliminates the toxicity by enzymatically changing their structures. Furthermore, the Mycofix^Â® product line is enhanced with a blend of scientifically studied and carefully selected plant and algae extracts that are able to overcome negative effects caused by mycotoxins in general by supporting the immune system, reducing the risk of inflammations and protecting against liver-damage.
