Rhiniffa T® - An Adjuvanted inactivated vaccine against atrophic rhinitis in pigs

Each 2-ml dose of vaccine contains

Bordetella bronchiseptica (toxicogenic strain)
at least 0.9 SA.U, Pasteurella multocida type D (toxicogenic strain)
at least 0.9 ELISA.U, Pasteurella multocida toxoid
at least 1.0 ELISA.U, Aluminium hydroxide (expressed in Al+++) 1.4 mg, Thiomersal 0.2 mg

1 SA.U: q.s. to obtain seroagglutinating antibody titres of 1 log10 in laboratory animals after administration of the vaccine.

1 ELISA.U: q.s. to obtain antibody titres by ELISA of 1 log10 in laboratory animals after administration of the vaccine.

BENEFITS AND USAGE

Prevention of atrophic rhinitis in pigs by vaccination of pregnant sows and transmission to piglets of the maternal immunity specific to the pathogenicity factors of Bordetella bronchiseptica and Pasteurella multocida strains
