Akipor 6.3® is a freeze-dried modified live vaccine in adjuvant against Aujeszky's disease
Each 2-ml dose contains:
- Freeze-dried pellet
- Live Aujeszky's disease virus, gE-deleted Bartha strain, guaranteed titre 106.3 CCID50
Excipient
- Oily diluent
- Thiomersal, at most 0.2 mg
- Oily excipient, qs 2 ml
BENEFITS AND USAGE
Modified live vaccine in oil adjuvant against Aujeszky's disease (gE- Bartha strain).
The vaccine induces an immune status against Aujeszky's disease, as demonstrated by challenge and by the presence of seroneutralising antibodies. Passive immunisation of piglets born to vaccinated sows via the colostral route has also been demonstrated.
