Bordetella Bronchiseptica-Erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae-Pasteurella Multocida Bacterin-Toxoid

For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of atrophic rhinitis associated with B. bronchiseptica and P. multocida types A and D toxin, erysipelas caused by E. rhusiopathiae, and pneumonia caused by P. multocida type A.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Vaccination against three diseases in a small 2 ml dose.

  • Contains chemically inactivated cultures of B. bronchiseptica, recognized cause of atrophic rhinitis; P. multocida toxigenic Types A & D, shown by researchers to be the strains that produce toxins which destroy nasal turbinates; P. multocida Type A, cause of pneumonia; and E. rhusiopathiae, cause of erysipelas.

  • In tests, vaccinated pigs had significantly less turbinate damage and lung inflammation, and showed fewer respiratory symptoms than did non-vaccinated controls.

  • Safe. No adverse reactions noted in sows and pigs when vaccinated in accordance with administration instructions.

Active Ingredient(s)
This product contains chemically-inactivated cultures of B. bronchiseptica (piliated), E. rhusiopathiae and P. multocida Types A and D and chemically inactivated toxin common to P. multocida Types A and D.
Preservatives: Gentamicin and amphotericin B.


Indications
For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of atrophic rhinitis associated with B. bronchiseptica and P. multocida Types A and D toxin, erysipelas caused by E. rhusiopathiae, and pneumonia caused by P. multocida type A.

Dosage and Administration
Shake well. Using aseptic technique, inject sows and gilts with 2 mL subcutaneously six (6) to seven (7) weeks and two (2) to three (3) weeks prior to the first farrowing and 2 to 3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing. Inject piglets from vaccinated dams with 2 mL subcutaneously at seven (7) days of age and between 17 and 28 days of age.

Precautions
Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze.

Caution(s)
For veterinary use only.
Use the entire contents when first opened. Transient local reactions may be observed at the injection site. If an allergic response occurs, administer epinephrine.


Warning(s)
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.

How Supplied
50 dose (100 mL) and 125 dose (250 mL) plastic vials.
