Bordetella Bronchiseptica-Erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae-Haemophilus Parasuis-Pasteurella Multocida Bacterin-Toxoid

For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of Glässer's disease caused by H. parasuis, atrophic rhinitis associated with B. bronchiseptica and P. multocida Types A and D toxin, pneumonia caused by P. multocida Type A, and erysipelas caused by E. rhusiopathiae.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Protects against four diseases in a small 2 mL dose.

  • Contains chemically inactivated cultures of B. bronchiseptica, recognized cause of atrophic rhinitis; toxigenic P. multocida Types A & D, shown to produce toxins which destroy nasal turbinates; P. multocida Type A, cause of pneumonia; E. rhusiopathiae, cause of erysipelas and H. parasuis, cause of polyserositis (Glässer's disease).

  • In tests, vaccinated pigs had significantly less turbinate damage and lung inflammation, and showed fewer respiratory symptoms than did non-vaccinated controls.

  • Demonstrated effective in immunizing against atrophic rhinitis.

Active Ingredient(s)
Contains chemically-inactivated cultures of H. parasuis, B. bronchiseptica, P. multocida Types A and D, and E rhusiopathiae, and chemically-inactivated toxin common to P multocida Types A and D. Preservatives: Gentamicin and amphotericin B.

Indications
For use in healthy swine as an aid in the prevention of Glässer's disease caused by H. parasuis, atrophic rhinitis associated with B. bronchiseptica and P. multocida Types A and D toxin, pneumonia caused by P. multocida Type A, and erysipelas caused by E. rhusiopathiae.

Dosage and Administration
Shake well. Using aseptic technique, inject sows/gilts with 2 mL subcutaneously 6 to 7 weeks and 2 to 3 weeks prior to the first farrowing, and 2 to 3 weeks prior to each subsequent farrowing. Inject piglets from vaccinated dams with 2 mL subcutaneously at 7 days of age and between 17 and 28 days of age.

Precautions
Store at 2° to 7°C (35° to 45°F). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened.

Caution(s)
Transient local reaction may occur at the injection site. If allergic response occurs, administer epinephrine.

Warning(s)
Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter.
