PNEU PAC®-ER Actinobacillus Pleuropneumoniae-Erysipelothrix Rhusiopathiae Bacterin
For use as an aid in the prevention of pneumonia caused by A. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 5 and 7 infection and erysipelas caused by E.rhasiopethiae infection in swine.

Active Ingredient(s)
This bacterin contains chemically inactivated cultures of A. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 5 and 7 and E. rhusiopathiae adjuvanted in EmulsigenTM.
Preservatives: Gentamicin, polymyxin B.
Indications
For the immunization of healthy swine four weeks of age or older against pneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae organisms. This bacterin has been shown to protect susceptible swine against intranasal challenge with virulent HPP serotype(s) 1, 5 and 7.
Dosage and Administration
Shake well. Administer 2 mL intramuscularly immediately behind the ear in swine four (4) weeks of age or older using aseptic technique. Repeat in 21 to 28 days. If losses due to A. pleuropneumoniae occur in older swine administer a third injection at that time. Annual revaccination of breeding swine is recommended.
Precautions
For veterinary use only. Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze. Use the entire contents when first opened.
Caution(s)
Transient local reactions may be observed at the injection site. If an allergic response occurs, administer epinephrine.
Warning(s)
Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. Extreme caution should be used when injecting any oil emulsion vaccine to avoid injecting your finger or hand. Accidental injection can cause serious local reaction. Contact a physician immediately if accidental injection occurs.
How Supplied
50 dose (100 mL) and 125 dose (250 mL) plastic vials.
