Hi Rory, hows life over there going. Is it nice and sunny or are you getting the usual cloudy/rainy weather Ireland is accustomed to.
As to pig movements from the UK to Ireland, as long as your pig(s) has the relavant documentation for moving them and they are registered with a CPH number, and then with Defra they will then be given identification numbers.
All the info. is on the defra site, under 'Livestock movements, identification and tracing'.
As with every thing to do with councils and Government bodies its never that straight forward and involves parting with money(hopefully not too much!!!). The livestock may need inspecting by a Vet before leaving the UK or even going into Ireland as well.
Hope this helps and Good Luck.
