- Brucellosis (in countries where this exists)
- Glässers disease (Haemophilus parasuis) *
- Erysipelas *
- Mycoplasma arthritis (Mycoplasma hyosynoviae infection) *
- Leg weakness, Osteochondrosis (OCD) *
- Streptococcal infection *
- Trauma
