Thick Stomach Worm (Ascarops strongylina and Physocephalus sesalatus)

(504) These worms are 10-20mm in length and are found world-wide. They are however relatively uncommon. The life cycle is indirect and involves beetles. Provided faeces are removed regularly, infection cannot occur. They must be present in large numbers to cause problems.
