Methane
(607) Methane gas is highly explosive when levels reach 1% or more, this is the main risk on farms. As a poison the gas is largely inert and would only cause problems to pigs if the levels were so high as to displace oxygen. This would take place above a concentration of 80% and the signs would be acute respiratory embarrassment.
