Abstract
The value of serology and the use of vaccines in the control of Porcine Parvovirus (PPV), together with its possible impact on other disease entities, are discussed by the author and the paper concludes with the description of a case of Post-weaning Multisystemic Wasting Syndrome (PMWS) in an unvaccinated herd.
