Lacerated Pork with Mandarin and Peppers

Lacerate the pork
in a food processor ![]() Create the marinade, then marinate the pork for 30 mins ![]() Fry the pork ![]() Fry vegetables then add to pork ![]() |
Ingredients (serves 3-4)
Main
1.5 kg loin joint or 1 kg of pork loins/fillet1 Onion
½ red,green or yellow pepper chopped/sliced
1 small tin of mandarin
2 tbls orange marmalade
1 tbls white wine vinegar
1 tbls tabasco sauce/chilli powder
1 tbls cornflour
Marinade
1 orange (juice and zest)2 tbls lemon juice
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbls tabasco sauce
1 tbls white wine vinegar
Preparation
1. Chop the pork into large pieces.2. Lacerate the pork in a food processor. Use the blade on full speed and pulse 5-6 times to lacerate but not to chop up the pork.
3. Marinate for 1 hour in marinade ingredients.
Cooking
4. Fry the meat.5. Fry the veg then add mandarin juice, orange juice, marmalade and tabasco sauce.
