Things to note:
- If the sow fails to eat properly, halve the feed level and start increasing again when she eats up, record actual consumption on this card
- The water supply to the lactating sow must be 2 litres per minute. At peak lactation she can drink over 40 litres (10 gallons) per day
- Regularly check your feeding bucket / scoop for actual weight of food being fed
- This feeding regime provides 6.3 kg per day for 21 day weaning, 6.8 kg a day for 24 day weaning and
7.2 kg a day for 28 day weaning
