Sow Feed
Annually, sows will eat 1.1 to 1.2 tonnes indoors and 1.2 to 1.3 tonnes outdoor.

Average: 1180 kg per sow per year,
     therefore: 1180 kg x Number of sows = Average Breeder Feed Per Year

Example
1180kg x 100 sows = 118 tonnes Breeder per year
This approximates to 2.27 tonnes per week per 100 sows

Finishing Feed
Assuming bacon production to a finished live weight of 92 kg

Example
Say 2300 bacon pigs sold/year at 95 kg
(a 100 sow unit doing 23 pigs per sow per year - 44 pigs per week)
Then:

Obtain figures from the farm for monthly purchases, add together and find ratios, and compare with above.

Fish Meal Usage (Malton Code Requirements)
No more than 15% inclusion upto 15 kg liveweight.
No more than 7.5% inclusion upto 30 kg liveweight.
No more than 2.5% inclusion to pigs greater than 30 kg liveweight.
Remove 14 days prior to slaughter.
