THE NETHERLANDS - In 1987 Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) was first observed in pig herds in the United States. In 1990 the first case of PRRS was reported in Europe. By the early 1990s PRRS become pandemic.
To this day the disease causes significant losses in the pig industry due to reproductive disorders and growth retardation.
Now, following an extensive update, Intervet are proud to present a completely new and more informative web site on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and their vaccine Porcilis PRRS: www.porcilis-prrs.com
