UK - Getting better links between the different elements of the supply chain can bring major benefits to all in terms of greater efficiency and the British Pig Executive (BPEX) is offering cash help to achieve this.Applications are being sought for the latest round of supply chain grants which can cover up to 50 per cent of the total costs of a project.
Applications can be made by individuals, partnerships, companies, co-operatives and collaborative groups.
BPEX Consumer Marketing Manager Chris Lamb said: "The aim of these grants is to encourage better co-operation throughout the supply chain with special reference to connecting producers to the final point of sale.
"The total amount of money in the pot is £125,000 with a maximum grant of £20,000 per annum and projects which last up to three years are eligible."
