Hypor Appoints General Manager For JVS In China
CHINA - International pig breeding company Hypor today announced the appointment of Geert Rutten to the position of General Manager China for the Joint Ventures, Sichuan Hypor New Hope Pig Breeding Farm and Shandong Hypor Liuhe Pig Breeding Farm.

“Geert brings 30 years of commercial and technical expertise in the pig breeding industry and with Hypor to his new role in China. “ said Marc Broadbent, Managing Director for Hypor China. He has successfully started up breeding farms and managed commercial accounts in Eastern Europe, Japan, Thailand and The Philippines.
The two ventures announced in April are now well into the construction stage and the first pigs are scheduled for arrival on farm in mid January 2007. Rutten’s appointment fulfills Hypor’s commitment to provide production management and technical expertise for the start up of the business.
