Print This Page Final survey for 2006 in grain and pork producers hands
US - The last major survey being conducted in 2006 by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) should be in the hands of grain and swine producers. Ray Garibay with NASS says it is both the acreage and grain stocks survey.“We’ll be interviewing about 77,000 producers nationwide during December,” says Garibay.
Information from the survey is to be completed by December 12th. And Ray Garibay says once all the information is collected, the real number crunching will begin.
“The last two weeks of December, NASS statisticians will be analyzing the data and we will publish the results on January 12, 2007.” Garibay said.
