FAO Praises Cuban Hog-Cholera Book
15 February 2007HAVANA - The UN Food and Agriculture Organization has declared a Cuban book on hog cholera is a reference guide for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The handbook contributes to control that epidemic, and there are both printed and digital editions in Spanish, English, and French, easily understandable for breeders, technicians, and veterinarians.
The author, Maria Teresa Frias of the National Farming Health Center, said the text has been included in an FAO collaboration project to fight that dangerous animal pathology.
