Print This Page English Survey of Agriculture - Pig breeding herd increased by 2%
ENGLAND - The English pig breeding herd has increased by almost two percent, according to Defra's December 2006 Survey of Agriculture for England.
The pig breeding herd increased by almost 2%, while the number of fattening pigs increased by almost 1%. Total pigs is up just over 1% since December 2005.
