ITALY - TOPIGS is pleased to announce the appointment of Gian Giacomo Grandi (1958) as manager for HBI, with effect from 1 January 2008. HBI is the Italian subsidiary of TOPIGS.

Mr Grandi has considerable experience in the Italian pig industry and in pig breeding. He has been HBI's commercial director for the past 11 years.
TOPIGS subsidiary HBI is market leader in pig genetics for Italy, with a market share of over 30%. TOPIGS is a world leader in pig genetics and the absolute market leader in several countries.
TOPIGS is the biggest genetic supplier in Europe. Excellent breeding programmes and the resulting customer commitment are the key to TOPIGS' success.
