Interest Surrounds the Big Dutchman Booth

There was significant interest in liquid feeding due to high feed prices in the US and the rest of the world. By-product use such as ethanol syrup and cheese whey can significantly reduce feed costs and increase feed gain.

In times of growing public concern about odor emissions in the US, the successfully tested and proven exhaust air washer MagixX also attracted interest of the Expo attendees. The Big Dutchman presence was larger than the year before and many compliments were received on the appearance of the equipment, and attractiveness of the booth.

Big Dutchman served cold German beer and pretzels on Friday afternoon for a social hour, and an accordion player dressed in Lederhosen contributed to the festive atmosphere.

Great German equipment, good German beer and good German music … it didn’t get much better than that! BD Pig USA was also assisted by Bo Molin, Senior General Manager BD Germany, Magnus Westerkamp, General Manager BD Pig Equipment, Germany, and Daniel Mauran from Vechta, Germany. Also helping was Vilceu De Oliveira from BD Brazil.
