Print This Page TOPIGS SA Delivers Sows to Frey’s Food Brand
SOUTH AFRICA - During March, April and May 2008, TOPIGS South Africa delivered 105 A-line nucleus sows and 850 TOPIGS 40 F1 gilts on an upgraded, cleaned and disinfected grower facility of Frey’s Food Brand in the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Midlands.
This is the start of an multiplication agreement between TOPIGS South Africa and Frey’s Agriculture, which will enable Frey’s to multiply its own TOPIGS 40s and to supply the KZN commercial pig farmers with F1s to ensure that the Frey’s pork processing plant gets the preferred carcass characteristics to satisfy their customer’s specific needs.
