Quest for Quality Pork

UK - An EU-funded initiative aims to improve the quality of pork.
The are several strands to the project. One will "contribute to the development of diverse sustainable primary production systems that correspond to market and societal demands". (Help pig farmers make a living by producing what shoppers want.)
Another strand will attempt to identify new ways to predict pork quality. It is intended that this will provide a better foundation for quality rating and pricing of pork, and will give the consumers and retailers the opportunity to choose products based on quality and price.
