Motivating Seminar During AgriHort 2009 in Kiev
UKRAINE - Ukraine pig farmers face many challenges in the current economical and political climate.
At the same time they know they are involved in one of the primary industries, upgrading vegetable proteins like wheat to more refined animal protein in meat. A task that is strong in demand in a country that desires further development.
Nedap wants to motivate and enable the pig industry to face the challenges ahead. During the international agricultural show AgriHort in Kiev (10-12 February), Nedap has organized 2 speakers that will address the key issues for successful pig farming in the Ukraine.
Dr. Victor Evert, DVM, will address animal health management in his presentation. From his long-term experience in pig health, Dr. Evert will bring better health management closer. By hands on methods and routines that can be applied the next day, hearing this presentation will give benefits to anyone involved into pig farming.
Mr. Vladimir Get’man has been active in making modern technology available to the Ukraine pig sector for over 10 years. Building on his experience from his own farm and many customers throughout the Ukraine, Mr. Get’man will offer pig farmers the technical tools to improve the profitability of their enterprise.
