Further Expansion at Big Dutchman Asia
MALAYSIA - To enhance its sales and technical support in the region, Big Dutchman Asia (BD Asia), Shah Alam, Malaysia, is further expanding its Poultry Division.

The company which is part of the Germany-based Big Dutchman group has therefore announced the appointment of Werner Grundmann as Technical Advisor, Dr. Cho Nam Kee as Area Sales Manager and James Symons as International Sales Coordinator.
Their extensive experience and knowledge will ideally complement the BD team and will further strengthen the favourable relationship between BD Asia and its customers in the Asia & Pacific region.


As Technical Advisor, Werner Grundmann is responsible for providing technical services and support in the field of climate control systems throughout Asia. To this end, he will work closely with BD Asia’s sales team and distributors. Werner is based in Melbourne, Australia, and has over 28 years of experience in the poultry industry.
Dr. Cho Nam Kee is responsible for expanding BD Asia’s sales activities for the entire Big Dutchman product range in Korea. He will be working jointly with Ganong International Co Ltd to provide the best available solutions for BD Asia’s customers. The Area Sales Manager carries a Ph.D. in Animal Science and has ten years of experience in livestock farming industry; he also spent some years lecturing. Dr. Cho is based in Seoul, Korea.
As International Sales Coordinator for Australasia, James Symons is in charge of supporting the field sales team and oversees all day-to-day interaction between the team and its customers. For this purpose, he will be working closely with BD Asia’s sales & technical team in Australia and New Zealand. James achieved his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Sydney and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
