Disinfectant Approved against H1N1 Influenza Virus

US - CID Lines' Virocid disinfectant has been approved against the influenza A/H1N1 virus.

CID LINES

Virocid® has successfully passed a test against both the swine and the human strain of the influenza virus A/H1N1 at a specialised laboratory in the USA. It passed the test at 0.25 per cent (1:400 or 2.5ml per litre, according to the AOAC protocol, with five per cent organic load and 400 ppm hard water). A copy of the report is available upon request.

Virocid has already been approved and listed by the FAO against the avian influenza virus, H5N1.

Virocid is non-carcinogenic, safe for equipment and surfaces (non-corrosive) and safe for the environment (biodegradable per the OECD standards). It can be sprayed, foamed or (thermo)fogged. Virocid is available and registered in more than 70 countries world wide.

CID Lines also offers a complete hand hygiene programme and a full Bioprotexion programme.
