Two-Day European Pig Health Symposium Starts
DENMARK - The first European Symposium on Porcine Health Management starts at the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.The European College of Porcine Health Management (ECPHM) is the first in a new line of annual international symposia on pig health. Invited speakers will be high ranking researchers and experts predominantly from European countries. Participants from all European regions will obtain expert level update on the newest results in the area of porcine health management. The setting this year is the modern and cosy university environment at the Faculty of Life Science at the University of Copenhagen.
The target groups are the specialised pig herd health vets, consultants and researchers. You will meet the leading colleagues from many other European countries. Participant interaction and discussions will be given priority.
The symposium subjects includes: The future of porcine health management, Viral, bacterial and non-infectious reproductive problems of the sow and Pathological diagnosis of enteritis. Furthermore, reports on emerging diseases and zoonosis will be presented. ECPHM residents will present new results from current research projects.
