Print This Page Bulgaria Reports Another Wild Boar with CSF
BULGARIA - The veterinary authorities have reported the death of another wild boar from classical swine fever (CSF) to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The Bulgarian veterinary authority sent Follow up Report No. 2 dated 12 October to OIE.
It reports that one wild pig was found dead on 28 September 2009 in Silistra, the same area as the previous cases.
The presence of the CSF virus has been confirmed.
