GD Organises Ring Test for PRRSV

NETHERLANDS - GD Animal Health Service is organising a proficiency testing scheme (Ring Trials) for Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) antibody detection in serum.

The goal of the PTS is to determine the performance of individual laboratories for specific tests. The PTS is organised according to the international guideline ILAC G13:2007.

The schedule for the PTS is as follows:

Closing date for the application: 4 March 2010
Shipment of the samples: week 11, 15 March
Submission of the test results: week 17, 26 April
Draft report: week 19
Final report: week 23
