First Meeting of Pig Health Management Group
17 May 2010EU - The first meeting of the newly formed European Association of Porcine Health Management (EAPHM) will take place in Hanover, Germany on 27 May.
During the first European Symposium of Porcine Health Management (ESPHM) in August last year, Jens Christian Eskjær Jensen (Technical Manager, Swine for Orion Pharma Animal Health) initiated the formation of a working group to establish the European Association of Porcine Health Management (EAPHM).
The first general assembly for EAPHM will be held on 27 May – during the second ESPHM in Hanover, Germany.
Mr Jensen says: "It is our firm believe that such an association has been needed for several years. We have worked closely together with AASV in the working group. EAPHM will be open for veterinarians and related professionals."
