This is the 30th project that has been sold in China since early 2008. The presence of several highly ranked government officials, highlighted the importance of this project for this region. In total, there were seven speeches, including by the local major, animal husbandry bureau, agricultural university, governor and Nedap.
In the burning sun, where temperatures reached over 40 degrees, the signature was put on paper. After the signing ceremony, all the guests were introduced to the farm.
This is the first phase of a farm with 2,400 sows which should be finalised by the end of 2010. The first nine Chinese-built feed stations are due to be delivered early this month.
