Fewer Pigs in Denmark in January 2011
DENMARK - In the latest census, there were 4.5 per cent fewer pigs on 1 January than on the same date in 2010 at 12,293,000, while the total number of sows (1.057 million) was 4.6 per cent lower than January last year.
