Russia Reports Two New Outbreaks of ASF

RUSSIA - The Russian veterinary authorities have reported two new outbreaks of African swine fever in Krasnodar Krai.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) received follow-up report no. 66 yesterday, 22 September.
According to the report, a total of 20,902 pigs were affected, out of which 137 cases were identified, and 72 deaths were reported. A total of 20,830 animals were destroyed.
The source of the outbreak remains inconclusive, and is under investigation.
