More FMD Confirmed in Tibet

TIBET, CHINA - Two hundred and seventy two cattle and 340 pigs have been destroyed in Muyu, Bomi, Tibet, after the discovery of foot and mouth disease (FMD).

In response to the outbreak, vaccination of sheep, goats, pigs and cattle has begun.

All animals within the area of the outbreak have been destroyed.
