Big Dutchman Free-Access Stall with Swinging Door

GERMANY - Pig producers should be excited: During VIV Asia 2013, market leader Big Dutchman will present its free-access stall Easy Lock for group housing of sows.

The innovative stall is equipped with a swinging door allowing the sow to enter and leave the stall at her own will.

However, Easy Lock does not use any mechanical springs. The stall generally uses only minimal mechanics, thus significantly reducing the number of faults.

The swinging door of the free-access stall closes when the sow has entered the stall and opens again when she wants to leave.

This provides every sow with her own feeding place where she can eat without being disturbed. The stall width can be adjusted between 60 and 70 cm.

The stalls can also be locked centrally - either individually or by group. This allows producers optimal monitoring of their pigs.
