Reiners Appointed Commercial Director for PIC in Western Europe

EU - With effect from 1 April 2013, Dr Kerstin Reiners started on her job at PIC as new Commercial Director.

After an agricultural education, Dr Reiners studied Agribusiness and Animal husbandry at the University of Göttingen, Germany, and received her doctor´s degree in 2009 - partly extra-occupational - at the Instiute of Agricultural Engineering in Vechta.

After two years as exportcoordinator for a Danish weaner and slaughter pig trader she already worked for PIC Germany from 2007 to 2011. Assigned to the Techical Service department, Kerstin provided genetic and technical services to customers. Starting from 2010 she took over the management of Technical Service and Supply Chain.

Since 2011, she was responsible for the international product management of the product line mastersorb® at EW Nutrition GmbH, a company belonging to the Erich-Wesjohann-Group.
With her extensive expertise and her international experience in Genetics, Production, Sales, Marketing and Key Account Management, Dr Reiners will become a competent representative of PIC for all business partners.

In the new established business structure for PIC Europe she will be responsible for Western Europe with the important markets in Germany, Benelux, Denmark, Austria and Czech Republic.
