Pork, Beef Banned in Sri Lankan District Due to FMD Worries

SRI LANKA - The slaughtering of cattle and pigs, and goats as well, selling and transporting of beef, mutton and pork were banned in the Gampaha District from Saturday, 8 March, as several head of cattle with foot and mouth detected were detected in the area.
